ONE SHEET WONDER CARDS

For a recent class at my house I showed how one 12"x12" piece of Designer Series Paper could be used to create 16 cards (3 each of cards A, C, D & E; 4 of card B)! This is a great way to get Christmas cards done quickly. I found this particular One Sheet Wonder in a past Stampin' Up! publication for demonstrators, but with a few slight changes.

All 5 cards were the standard 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" finished dimensions. They were all done using one stamp set: Merry & Bright. The only accessories used were dimsionals & ribbon (Whisper White & Certaily Celery). For my samples I used Wintergreen Designer Series Paper, which is no longer available :(, but Ski Slope, Frosty Day, or Holiday Treasures Designer Series Papers would work great for Christmas cards. Lastly, I used Always Artichoke ink to stamp the images on all 5 cards.

Card A

Card Stock: Sage Shadow (5-1/2" x 8-1/2"), Certainly Celery (1-3/4" x 4-1/2"), Whisper White(1-3/4" x 1-7/8")

Additional Accessory: I use Soft Sky (retired In-color) and a blender pen to color in the snowman's hat & scarf.

Card B

Card Stock: Sage Shadow (5-1/2" x 8-1/2"), Soft Sky ( 2-2/3" x 2"), Always Artichoke (4" x 3/4" )

Card C

Card Stock: Always Artichoke (5-1/2" x 8-1/2"), Sage Shadow (2" x 4-1/4" & 2" x 3-3/4"), Whisper White ( 1-3/4" x 2-1/2")

Card D

Card Stock: Sage Shadow (5-1/2" x 8-1/2"), Soft Sky (1-1/2" x 3")


Card E

Card Stock: Always Artichoke ( 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" & 1-1/2" x 2-1/2"), Certainly Celery (1" x 5-1/2"), Sage Shadow (1-1/4" x 2-1/4")

I did not include the Designer Series Paper dimensions since there is a specific way to cut the paper so everything for all the cards comes from one sheet. Using the Slit Punch, like I did in this card is a great & super simple way to turn any card into a gift card!
